Finding the perfect fabric…

Circle Skirts are pretty easy to make – the challenge is finding a really great novelty print, for a good price. This one is bright and western and has a great palette! Cotton is a good choice of fabric because it’s easy to sew with, and cheap. King Textiles down on Adelaide has lots of good patterns like this one. I don’t like the characters at the bottom but the zigzags at the top really work with the shape of this style. I think this style might make a good beginner project for classes this spring….
