Here are pics from the 1 Hour “Stache ‘n Dash” moustache-making workshop at City of Craft on Sunday. After debating what to make for this workshop, I finally decided to make stuffed mustaches after one of my very first customers told me that her daughter was asking for one this Christmas. They’re a great way to use cut scraps of fabric that are too small to make into anything else.
Jessica and her boyfriend Drew chose the classic moustache fabric, cashmere wool felt in camel. They were here on vacation from Baltimore (after finding $1~ bus tickets online!). And the lovely Michelle Yee of Soft Mechanic opted for a more contemporary spin on the moustache – silver sequins. I was quite pleased with how well they all turned out! I will definitely be back to City of Craft next year for Christmas shopping and more crafts!
