Oh my gosh was I ever terrified to take down the paper from the windows this past weekend! After two months (we officially moved in on October 1st) of renovations it was obviously time to open up shop for the world to see. Here’s Linda, gleefully ripping the paper down. I was not so gleeful – my heart nearly stopped while she ripped it off! It’s not that I didn’t want to see light in the studio – it just felt SO official to be open, finally.
What a difference it makes! The light is much nicer and the window looks so pretty with the lace embroidery hoops in it. I don’t know why I was so nervous about it – sharing our little studio with the world is wonderful! So many well wishers have stopped in to say hello and congratulations, people seem very curious and excited that we’re here. I’m so pleased with our new studio, and our students have all said what a cool, fun space it is -which makes me happier than a Corgi on stilts!
I hope everyone who walks through the studio feels inspired, empowered and excited about “Making it Themselves”.
