Have you ever dreamed about travelling abroad to study? London, Paris, maybe Tokyo? Well our student Tristan is following doing just that! After spending the summer at our Portfolio Prep Camp learning how to sew and pattern draft, Tristan joined our team and became our co-op student. She spent the entire fall working on her illustrations and other garments before her Interview. She took a simple strapless bodice and made it her own with a combo of stripes and polkadots. Then she took a basic circle skirt and added a tulle underskirt, juxtaposing stripes and an awesome pink satin rose to match her hair! Topping it all off, she had a crow headpiece to complete her look. Drama from head to toe! From modelling and shooting her garments, to designing her own logo and sewing her own clothes, this awesome chica gave 110% on her portfolio. Apparently hard work pays off, because Tristan was accepted into the Costume Design Program at The University of the Arts in London! We are SO proud of you Tristan!
