Fabric Shopping in London

There are many places to buy fabric in London.  I was thrilled to find Ray-Stitch, 99 Essex Road.  The store is an absolute gem!

Ray-Stitch is a small sewing studio, much like The Make Den.  They sell fabric, haberdashery, sewing patterns, and provide sewing classes.  The owner, Lisa, was absolutely lovely and I bought Liberty cotton lawn and Japanese double gauze.

Here are some more pics!

Another shot from London….I happened upon a wedding shoot on the Millennium Bridge in front of St. Paul’s Cathedral.

Do you include fabric shopping when you are on vacation?

Happy Sewing!
