Regent Park Studio:
Our Bloordale Studio is made up of three large sewing spaces furnished with Janome 625E machines for straight stitching (they are super quiet and they never give you attitude!) as well as 4 Janome XG-43D Serger and a 1000 CPX Cover Seamer. Rowenta are our irons of choice, and we use the Eco-Intelligent Iron for our classes. We also sell Rowenta Irons because they are awesome.
Our Bloordale Studio also boasts a Leather Studio, where were offer a range of leather work classes, as well as a Screen Printing Studio where you can turn your own designs into fabric art, print your own textiles or t-shirts.
At the front of the studio is our retail space. We have a wide range of quality quilting cottons including Art Gallery, Lizzy House, Michael Miller, Alexander Henry, Tula Pink, and Cotton and Steel, as well as a small but curated selection of fashion fabrics. You can also find sewing notions, quilting supplies, Tandy Leather products, zippers and sewing patterns for sale.
Of course, we also have an enormous collection of vintage patterns and pattern books for you to peruse – feel free to trace any of them onto drafting paper during our open studio hours (Friday 6-9pm). Just register in advance to let us know you’re coming!
If you are coming by transit, take the Bloor line to Lansdowne station and leave via the Emerson exit. We are just across the street from 69 Vintage Collective. There is free parking on Brock and a green P parking lot just up the street on Margueretta.
