Olivia Elodia first fell in love with sewing while growing up in the punk scene. She was drawn heavily to the fashion style but more importantly the emphasis on DIY skills. She began her fashion career mending clothes, sewing patches, cutting crop tops and making bras out of bicycle tube. Looking to expand upon her knowledge she came to the make den first as a student, taking classes and quickly became addicted. She fell in love with the craft and decided to make a career of it. Olivia studied Fashion Techniques and Design at George Brown College, of which she graduated with honours specializing in leather and lingerie. Upon graduating she transcended the student-teacher barrier at The Make Den and began teaching the very same classes she once took. She is now considered a jack of all trades and teaches classes full time as well as crafting and designing her own work in her home studio.
