Stephanie Rose has been quilting since around 2003 and when she started, she didn’t even know how to use a sewing machine. Although she approached quilting with a fearless abandon back in the day, she spent time as the president of a large quilt guild in Illinois where she was able to learn the “right way” to do things. It’s a combo of these two approaches that she brings to her classes at The Make Den.
When not working her day job at U of T, curling in the winter months, and cuddling her obnoxious but lovable cats, Steff can be found quilting. To date, she has complete more than 200 quilting projects, and is still going strong. Just don’t ask her to make a garment… that scares the heck out of her!
