Sharpen your ‘Serger-y’ skills with a cute, boxy basic top! This 1 day workshop will have you heading home in a cute new DIY jersey shirt with an oversized body, fitted sleeves and a boat neck. Patterns come with the option of shortening or lengthening sleeves and hems. Come in with some fabric, leave with a finished garment!! You’ll be using a pattern developed at our studio by Jade Kinrade.
Workshop length is 5 hours. Beginners are welcome, but you must be able to thread up a sewing machine. If you’ve never sewn before, we suggest taking our Sewing Fundamentals class first! Course fee is $90. Sergers will be provided for students to work on, but we welcome you to bring in your own machine if you’d like to practice on it!
*You will need to bring 1yd of jersey with you to the studio for your class. We suggest shopping at Downtown Fabrics, Affordable Textiles or Fabricland for suitable fabrics.
